Mathis Dabbarh Marsepoil

Mathis Dabbarh Marsepoil is a geo-designer and sonic researcher with an MA in Geo-Design from Design Academy Eindhoven. His practice investigates how signals move among human, non-human, and machinic bodies, as well as how memory circulates, transforms, and inscribes itself within living and technical systems. Over the past two years, he has conducted itinerant research on birds along the migratory axis from southern Morocco to the Netherlands, collaborating with researchers, scientists, musicians, and craftspeople. His last essay, Techno-ventriloquism: a digital migration of bird vocalization, was published in A Body Holds a Body Holds a Body. His work integrates biology, computation, semiotics, and resonance through sound devices presented in performance contexts.
