Techno‑ventriloquism names the conservation apparatus that mouths birds and human witnesses through formats, archives, and machine listening, giving them a stable, computable voice while emptying them of their situated, noisy vocalizations. It is the system that lets signals survive as taxonomic data, code points, and digital twins, even as it erodes the relational fields that once made them speak.
